SOLO ENGAGEMENT RESPONSE TO AN ACTIVE KILLER

DECEMBER 19-20, 2016

Criminal Justice Institute

26 Corporate Hill Drive

Little Rock, Arkansas 72205

THIS CLASS IS RESTRICTED TO PERSONNEL WITHIN ARKANSAS SHERIFF’S OFFICES.

This 2-day course will focus on solo engagement tactics that can be used in schools to provide officers who may find themselves “first on the scene” with the necessary mental and physical skills to engage in an active killer situation as the solo officer. The course will also help in developing an aggressive mindset that allows the use of tactics and the implementation of the skills to be used for encountering a threat.
Practical exercises and mock scenarios will be conducted on a school campus so participants can apply the tactics and techniques learned in the classroom.
Funding for this program is being provided by the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Association.

Lodging will be provided and meals are eligible for reimbursement.
To register, contact Vicki French: 501-570-8098 or vefrench@cji.edu
